What We Offer…
School-Based Assistive Technology Assessments
We offer comprehensive assistive technology assessments, available both virtually and in person. With a focus on understanding each student’s unique needs, our evaluations are designed to identify the most effective tools and strategies to support learning and development. Our team brings expertise and care to every assessment, providing detailed recommendations that align with each learner’s educational goals.
Each assessment includes practical, actionable steps for implementation, ensuring that identified tools can be integrated smoothly into the student’s daily routine. By partnering with us, schools can create more inclusive learning environments where all students have the opportunity to thrive using technology tailored to their individual needs.
School-Based Assistive Technology Services
We provide comprehensive school-based assistive technology (AT) services, including training, consultation, and ongoing support—offered both in-person and through virtual telepractice. Our team is experienced in developing and guiding AT implementation plans, facilitating device trials, and providing practical solutions tailored to the needs of students and staff.
In addition to direct support, we offer expert consultation on AT device management, usage tracking, and end-of-year planning to ensure continuity and compliance. Our goal is to help schools integrate assistive technology effectively, enhancing educational access and outcomes for all learners. Reach out to learn how we can support your team and students.
Our Philosophy…
Empower Students With Disabilities!
Assistive Technology = Access
AT is crucial in supporting students with disabilities by:
Increasing Access to Curriculum
AT helps students with disabilities engage with instructional materials in ways that match their individual learning needs, ensuring they can participate meaningfully in classroom activities.
Promoting Independence
With tools tailored to their abilities, students can complete tasks on their own—whether it’s reading text, writing responses, or organizing information—reducing reliance on adult support.
Supporting Diverse Learning Styles
AT provides multiple means of expression, engagement, and representation, aligning with Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and accommodating various sensory, motor, and cognitive needs.
Improving Academic Performance
By removing barriers to learning, AT can help students more effectively demonstrate what they know, resulting in better outcomes on assignments, assessments, and participation.
Building Confidence and Self-Advocacy
When students use tools that support their success, they often feel more capable and are more likely to take ownership of their learning and advocate for the supports they need.
Think all AT assessments must be in person? Think again.
Virtual assessments are not only COMPARABLE TO in-person ASSESSMENTS,
but they can also provide
ENHANCED INSIGHTS into a child's interaction with assistive tools
